Everything 04:03
Verse 1. I'm out of work, the bills are late. Can't get it straight but I'm still not stressing. All these interviews, sending resumes; can't get paid but the sun's still shining. My credit's maxed. The debt is stacked. They're on my back but I keep on smiling. The cupboards bare, and I'm out of luck. But I don't care cause I still have music. Pre chorus 1. And everytime I might succeed, I find my hopes derailed. So I reach inside & find the one who's never bailed on me. Chorus 1. Everything will go wrong, it will go right. Never giving in, I'll stand & fight. With Eveything against me. Verse 2. The reality, of the industry; a parody or a 3 ring circus. All these gimmicks, and their images. Survey says "that it's just not worth it". The lessons learned, and the tables turned. I'm not concerned cause the drum's still bangin. And back since Center Stage, I never gave a fuck. I grabbed my pen & the guns started blazing. Pre chorus 2. Every design that I conceive, I find my hopes derailed. So I reach deep inside & find the one who's never failed me. Chorus 2. Everything will go wrong, it will go right. Never giving in, I'll stand & fight. With Eveything against me. Chorus 3. Everything will go wrong, it will go right. Never giving in, I'll be alright. With Eveything. Chorus 4. Everything will go wrong, will go right. Never giving in, I won't back down. With Eveything against me. With Eveything against me.

Countries 04:25
V1. Imperial nations, supporting the arches; while the African people sigh & grieve. With colonization, exploited the diamonds, took the rubber & stole the ivory. With threat & subversion, supporting disasters; the diaspora stands outside like weeds. They murdered Kadhafi, and ruined his nation; cause he wanted to change their currency. No you don't believe it. V2. Despite all the scoundrels & broken agreements; men & women would stand up right & fight. Exceptional leaders, teachers & scholars with respect from their whole communities. Like Patrice Lumumba, and Hallie Selasie, Akenaton, respect Marcus Garvey. With Shaka & Biko, and Thomas Sankara, King Terharqa, Al Mansur made em weep. Chorus. No Country, No Prophecy, I Want Relief

V. 1. – I have dick, and you want some. Cause I’m the one who turns you on. I’m so complete & what you need until you’re done. You have needs & I have doubts. And the way I bust you out, Has got you squealing begging “please” until you shout. Ch. 1. - And everytime I lose my mind, I fall for you, I must be blind. I don’t know how I got into this plight. But I can’t wait too long, or wait to see, I’m not the one & cannot be. I don’t. No I don’t like in between. V. 2. – You look good, and that’s no doubt. I need my hands under your blouse. I’m on your frequency, so let’s go to your house. You need space, OK with me. I’ll stay in your periphery. You pull me out, then push me in, then hide the key. Ch. 2. – And everytime I lose my pride, I turn into an easy ride. I don’t know how I got into this plight. But I can’t wait too long, or wait to see, I’m not the one & cannot be. I don’t. No I don’t like in between. Bridge – Well it seems like forever since I first looked at your face. 20 years have passed, I’ve noticed that I’m easy to replace. But I’m not mad, and I’m not sad, cause sometimes things go to waste. Just know I miss you. I’m sorry but I’m not the one to blame. Just know I miss you. I’m sorry that it doesn’t feel the same. Ch. 3. – And everytime I scratch my head, how I could want you back again. I don’t know how I got into this plight. But I can’t wait too long, or wait to see, I’m not the one & will not be. I don’t. No I don’t like in between. Tag – I’ll be there at 3:15 (AM)!!!!!

V1. When I left home I made a promise, to wrestle hopes from tragedies. Though I went cold & hungry from rejection; someone that I couldn't see would shadow me through thick & through thin. It's hard to see which way is open, when viewing through a cloudy lens. And in my hast, got pulled in 2 directions. 1 led to eternity, the other to a shallow grave. Ch. Funny how when times are hard & all I see is lunacy surrounding me; I choose to be free. Funny how when times are hard & all I see is misery surrounding me; I choose to be free. V2. So now let's grow & push for progress. And build our own communities. Let's raise em up & drink to imperfection. Cause some things in my memory remind how I shouldn't be. Well no one ever chose THE TURNIP. But in fertile soil, plant THE SEED. Well I became a force with one reflection. And obviously MY TURNIP SEED it sprouted to a SHADY TREE. Ch. Funny how when times are hard & all I see is lunacy surrounding me; I choose to be free. Funny how when times are hard & all I see is misery surrounding me; I choose to be free. BR. Funny how when times are hard & things are bad, most would rather turn their heads than face reality. Funny how when times are hard & all I see is slavery; I choose to be free.
