When I left home I made a promise, to wrestle hopes from tragedies.
Though I went cold & hungry from rejection; someone that I couldn't see would shadow me through thick & through thin.
It's hard to see which way is open, when viewing through a cloudy lens. And in my hast, got pulled in 2 directions. 1 led to eternity, the other to a shallow grave.
